MOQ, size ratios and slab pricing explained

How 50-set minimums work across colours and sizes, and how quantity bands affect landed cost for USA, Europe and Australia buyers.
MexicoScrubs standard MOQ is 50 sets or pieces per style and colour. Mixed sizes are allowed inside that quantity — for example one colourway split across XS to 2XL — but a new colour usually restarts the MOQ.
Plan size ratios early. A common hospital mix is roughly XS 5%, S 15%, M 25%, L 25%, XL 20%, 2XL 10%, then adjust for your market. Tall/short inseams on pants should be stated as separate SKUs or clear ratio lines so cutting tickets stay accurate.
Slab (tier) pricing rewards larger releases: unit cost falls as you move from 50–99 to 100–249 and 250+ bands. Compare landed cost, not only FOB — freight, duty and local distribution can outweigh a small per-unit saving.
Multi-style programmes work best when you release styles in waves. That keeps first delivery moving while later colourways are still in embroidery or packing.
When you request a quote, send: styles, colour count, total sets, size ratio, branding scope and destination. Clear inputs produce slab prices you can defend to finance and procurement.
